Privacy policy

Tukka operates Audio Editor at audio-editor.tukka.dev. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the site. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email contact[at]tukka[dot]dev.

1. Your audio. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. The files you open, your edits and the MP3s you export are handled by your browser on your own device. They are never uploaded or sent to us or to anyone else.
2. Browser storage. Your browser's local storage keeps one random ID for analytics. It is not tied to your name or your device. When you press Save, the project and its audio files are kept in your browser's storage on this device, where only you can open them. Clearing the site's data removes both.
3. Analytics. Our own analytics counts visits using that random ID, the page address, the referring site, the country worked out from your IP address, and your browser, operating system and device type. These records are kept for 40 days and then deleted. The IP address itself is not stored. There are no ads and no third-party trackers.
4. Service providers. Our server is hosted in France. Cloudflare delivers and protects the site, and may process network information to do so, including in other countries. We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising. We may disclose information when the law requires it or to deal with abuse.
5. Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to its use, or complain to your data protection authority. Since we keep almost nothing, there is usually nothing to hand over.
6. Changes. We'll update this page and its date when anything here changes. This policy covers Audio Editor only.
